Our communities’ campaigns are not relegated to “criminal justice” or “immigrant rights,” but are based in recognition that all of us deserve a world where we can thrive away from police and ICE violence and outside of jails and detention centers.
We will tell the stories of the local efforts where people — both U.S. citizens and non U.S. citizens — came together to fight unique campaigns against criminalization in their communities.
This is our effort to tell our own stories. We hope it can help inspire people throughout the country who want to wage real, transformative campaigns that lead to true liberation for all impacted communities. We hope to provide real tools — sample policies, talking points, and news articles — that can help people run similar campaigns in their own homes.
Creating opportunities to build relationships across divides, building real power in impacted communities, and working towards a world without incarceration or deportation.
